My life changed on a new years eve when I cried before God that my life must not be the same again, and I started doing the things needed - with determination and discipline and consistency.
Can we quickly discuss something briefly this morning?
I get a lot of messages from different people about repetitive issues in their lives, constant difficulties, nonstop patterns, longstanding problems etc.
And the first question I always ask is - How is your personal relationship with God? (meaning The Godhead)
And in 90% of the case - relationship with God is either non existent or up and down.
And, I'm always like - so what else are you expecting???
If you have no personal relationship with the One 'person' who can fix your life, how do you expect your life to be fixed???
See ehn, someone can pray for you and an issue can be sorted because God is good and kind to all. But let me tell you the honest truth - issues will arise again because you are not under the covering of God if you do not have a personal relationship with Him.
It is "those who DWELL in the secret place of Lord shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty"
It is not "those who VISIT"
All the one leg in, one leg out will not secure you.
There is a life of consistent victory
There is a life of from glory to glory
There is a life of Ease
There is a life of Peace
There is a life of Joy
There is a life of Abundance
But it is only found INSIDE Jesus
Do you know how the Holy Spirit leads?
Do you know how He guides?
Do you recognise His voice when He's speaking to you?
Do you know when He's instructing you?
Can you differentiate His voice separate from other voices
In tough times, can you 'feel' His Arms around you?
When it seems you cannot go on again, can you 'feel' Him carrying you?
When everywhere is noisy and cloudy, can you pick out that still small voice telling you "Peace, be still"?
That comes from knowing Him
That comes from following Him
That comes from obeying Him
That comes from submitting to Him
That comes from being led by Him
That comes from being surrendererd to Him
That comes from a Personal Relationship with Him!
Are you not tired of a life of difficulties?
Are you not exhausted with up today, down tomorrow?
Don't you want ease?
Are you not ready to rest in God's Love and Peace???
All you have to do is build your relationship with Him!
These are the things that help us build our relationship with God:
- Read your Bible daily. Do 3 chapters a day, start from New Testament
- Pray every day - schedule a prayer time and stick to it
- Talk to the Holy Spirit, gist like a friend throughout the day
- Listen to messages, teachings, sermons regularly
- Surround yourself with worship and praise music, keep it playing around you
- Become an active member of a living church
- And the most important - Be Consistent with everything - it is what you do consistently that produces results, not what you do once in a while
Please what is so hard about that???
How is that difficult compared to the life you are living now???
That is what Jesus meant when He said "My yoke is easy" meaning what He requires you to do is very easy and simple.
But no, you are deliberately choosing difficulty, hard life, problems, recycling issues!
I wish you could see my heart.
It pains me o. It pains me a lot.
Because I know how much I enjoy in Christ.
I know how beautiful the Holy Spirit makes my life
I know how surrounded I am by the passionate love of Abba
And I want you to enjoy the same thing
It is such a life of Ease and Victory and Abundance.
And it is available to every single one of us.
That is the painful part. Seeing people not enjoying what is so freely and completely available
Because the only difference between me and you is that I did what was required to build that relationship.
That's all.
I firmly believe a lot of believers will cry when they get to heaven and realise how they suffered themselves unnecessarily here on earth.
They will finally see that none of the things they went through was needed. It was them not knowing and following the Holy Spirit.
Another year is ending again. The same way 2025 ended.
Is this how you want to do 2027 again?

Stop recycling problems.
Take God seriously.
