Delete your Wholesome Life account
Wholesome Life is run by A Wholesome Family ministry. You can delete your account and your data at any time, in the app, on the website, or by email.
In the app
- Open the Wholesome Life app and log in.
- Tap Profile, then Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
On the website
- Log in at wholesomelife.ng.
- Go to Settings and choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
If you cannot log in
If you forgot your password, use "Forgot password" on the login page first, then follow the steps above. If you still cannot get in, email hello@wholesomelife.ng from the email address on your account and say you want your account deleted. We will check that it is you and delete the account, normally within 14 days.
What is deleted
- Your account details: name, username, email address, date of birth and profile picture.
- Everything you posted: comments, testimonies, prayer requests and questions, and any sermons and stories if you are a minister.
- Your private messages, follows, bookmarks, highlights and notes, and your phone's alert token.
Deleting your account removes this for good. We cannot bring it back.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you is kept after deletion. Our backups are kept for up to 14 days, so deleted information may stay in a backup for that long before it is erased. We do not take payments in the app, so there are no payment records.
Delete only some of your data
You can delete your own comments, testimonies and prayer requests one by one without deleting your account. To ask us to remove something else, email hello@wholesomelife.ng.
